FEATURED PRODUCT: Smoke Odor Kleen
http://www.quitsmoking.com/kleen/index.htm
If you smoke, you stink! Literally. Your hair stinks, your
clothes stink, your car stinks and your home stinks. Anywhere
you smoke, becomes a smelly "ashtray", filled with the
disgusting odor of cigarette smoke.
When you are smoking you don't realize just how bad cigarettes
can make you and everything around you smell. When you begin to
cut back or quit smoking, one of the first things you'll notice
is just how bad cigarette smoke smells.
It's embarrassing!
If you're still trying to quit you need something to get rid of
those foul odors right now! Smoke Odor Kleen is designed to
destroy smoke odors in seconds.
Smoke Odor Kleen doesn't mask or cover up the odor like some
"deodorizers" do. Instead it actually neutralizes offensive
odors, without covering up one odor with another. Just spray
Smoke Odor Kleen into the air or directly on affected clothing,
upholstery, car seats, bedding or even your hair!
Smoke Odor Kleen is non-toxic, odorless, and not a cover-up. Use
it to deodorize luggage, smelly hotel rooms, draperies, ashtrays
or foul-smelling smoking areas and office buildings. Remove
smoke odors from your clothing and hair after dining in a smoky
restaurant or bar.
Don't be embarrassed by nasty smoke odors again! Get Smoke Odor
Kleen and spray the smell away!
Smoke Odor Kleen is available in a large 8 oz. / 237 ml. size
for just $6.99.
Also available in convenient 2 oz. / 59 ml. travel size. Fits
easily into purse, pocket or car. (Sold in packs of two.) Only
$5.98.
Smell better--get yours today!

Subject: Quitting Smoking
I have been smoking cigarettes since the Fall of 1962. I still
remember that first pack, in the college classroom building
hallway (that was legal then) outside Russian class. (Unfiltered
Pall Malls, I believe, in a red pack.) After short periods of
cutting down--I never did smoke more than a pack per day--I
finally decided to quit after facing some dental surgery where
failure rate is significantly higher for smokers than for non-
smokers. I knew from previous experience that I'd have things
pretty well licked after four days--and I did--but a coworker
assured me that if I could make it through two weeks, I'd have
it licked. Today is my two-weeks' anniversary. I can now say,
with conviction, that I am a NON-SMOKER. I am enjoying tasting
and smelling things again, I am enjoying having an extra $10 or
$15 a week that otherwise would have gone into cigarettes, I am
enjoying having more energy and deeper breaths, but most of all
I enjoy getting very close to people knowing that my breath and
hair do not smell of cigarettes. To keep me on the straight and
narrow, I have installed, as a desktop pattern on my computer,
that disgusting picture of cigarette butts on the mouse pad and
coaster sold at your site.
[Ed. note: mouse pad is here:
http://www.quitsmoking.com/mousepad/index.htm]
Thanks for the support of this group. Even though I just signed
on, now that I am pretty much over the nicotine craving, you may
find that I am signed off in just a couple of weeks. Being an
ex-smoker is great, and, as painful as the first week was,
actually not that hard to quit with enough preparation and
determination.

Hi there,
Just to let you know, I did quit smoking. I quit on the Great
American Smokeout on November 19. I was just searching for any
information I could find to stay quit. The only question or
concern I have is about my weight. I have gained about 20
pounds. I am generally a petite person, so this weight gain is
really alot. I am determined to stay cigarette-free, and not
return to smoking just to control my weight. Any advice anyone
may have to help me out here would be appreciated. Will my
generally go back down after a few more months, or will I have
to diet? (which I have NEVER done before & don't know the first
thing about it)
By the way, I quit cold turkey. I have quit many times before
and used many other methods including cold turkey. The only
thing i did different this time was i prayed alot. I'm not what
i would call a very religous person, but I realized that my
addiction was bigger than me and asked for help.
Thank you

Hello, I am going to be quitting smoking within the next 2
weeks. I have just moved into a new area (Mass.), we are
presently in a rental house but I am using our new home as a
"key" to quit. This Friday is the finally closing and by next
Friday all our personal belongs will be with us and then is the
time for me to stop.
I only have one question though, stress! ...what way(s) can you
suggest a person use to lower stress levels? Anyone who does,
has or is still smoking knows that just one butt, puff, or drag
and give a feel of stress relieve. It is the strangest thing, I
quit last summer for more then 3 months I was smoke free, then 2
months worth of stress got me hooked again. I knew just one butt
was all that was needed to release it, and it did.
But thing's are different now, I want to quit, I promised I
would, and feel the need to live up to my word, all that
concerns me is the stress. It would not do anyone and good if I
quit and then was a walking time bomb all the time ready to go
off at the slights thing. Any suggestions from anyone would be
greatly appreciated!

Subject: Non smoker!
Hey Fred, I am a subscriber to your newsletter. I am in college,
am 18 years of age. I have been smoking ever since i was 14
(about 12 cigarettes a day) and then from the age of 17 ,about
2-3 packs a day.I started out thinking that i could quit anytime
i wanted to ,however later i realised how wrong i was, but i
still wouldn't admit it to myself...whenever my friends asked me
to quit , i used to say i could quit anytime. I "tried to quit"
several times the past few years but i never really tried to
quit, it was more of a facade to satisfy myself that i was
"trying" to quit, and hence all i succeeded in doing was
convincing myself that it was impossible to quit and thus there
was no point in trying. Also, i had heard lot of stories from
people about how tough it was to quit smoking, and this didn't
help my cause in any way. But deep down inside me, i knew that
the damn things were controlling me...my stamina level was
terrible, i used to get badly out of breath after climbing a
flight of stairs..and this was all at 17 years of age! I never
did notice the odor which came from my clothes all the time, or
that my sense of taste and smell had virtually disappeared, all
this and a lot of other things..anyway, about 2 months ago,i had
this terrible cough. I was coughing continuously for about 10
min at a strecth, it was that bad..this lasted for about a week.
And even during this week, i didn't reduce the amount i smoked.
Then, one day i thought about it...coughing like an invalid, no
stamina at all...still smoking though! and then it hit me and i
decided i WAS going to stop smoking. And i admit it was rough
the first week...but it is NOT as tough as people say it is. And
the end results are worth it, at least for me they are...now i
don't smoke at all, and this is after smoking for 4 years..chain
smoking for 2 of those years. Now, i am amazed at how i don't
get out of breath quickly, as compared to earlier. And when i
see other people smoking, i feel disgusted to see that addictive
cigarette taking control of their lives as it had taken over
mine! And this is coming from me, and i myself was a chain
smoker not so long ago! I no longer feel the need to have a
cigarette..although i was tempted to shove the whole plan down
the drain so to speak during the first week i was trying to
quit. But all i want to say is this: You cannot quit smoking if
you are not serious about it...the world meets no one halfway,
if you know what I'm saying here (trust me, I've been thru
it!).And it is NOT as tough as you think it is...so all you
smokers out there who want to quit ,stop thinking about it and
DO it now!

Tomorrow it will be two weeks smoke-free for me. Today I had to
work in a downtown office for seven hours straight (except for a
half hour lunch break). Two weeks ago I would have climbed the
walls in that decidedly smoke-free environment! Today, I
realized how much productivity my "little friend" has cost me
through the years. As I get my health back, I also get back
precious wasted time. I'm using this time to exercise in the
morning or at lunch because I've always used cigarettes to keep
my weight down and I don't want that as an excuse to fall back
on anymore. Together we will whip this thing!

Subject: quit smoking
Dear Mr. Kelley, I've reading all the responses from every one
else, now its my turn. I have been trying to quit for years, but
just could not do it until now. 2 weeks ago I watched my mother
die from lung and heart disease from years of smoking. She quit
too late, they had done there dirty deed which they were made to
do. 2days after we layed her to rest I got the results from the
breathing test I had taken 1 week before and what the doctor
told me wasn't good. It was either quit now or in a couple of
years be like my mother was. I decided to quit. He put me on
Zyban and a patch. I have been doing pretty good but I have
times when I just wish I had another person to talk to that
knows what I am going though. My family really tries hard to
help but its not the same. If anyone out there email me at
mailto:sandyfre@ezaccess.net
Well I will close for now hoping to hear from some one

can't. It is still hard. I smoked for 60 yrs. I'm 71 now. I
could start back in a heartbeat. Have quit many many times.
Adding Zyban to my regime got me over the hump. this time I am
trying to look at this thing intellectually this time. hope it
sticks.

Hey Fred
I have been smoke free now for 3 months and it has been a lot
easier then i thought. After hearing how hard it was and it
would make you gain weight - I'm here to tell you it won't. I
stayed the same weight, exercised more and now can actually feel
myself being able to breath more and more everyday. I always
ran, and never thought the smoking had an affect on me, but now
i realize how much it did. I smoked for over 8 years and I now
am almost repulsed by the smell that I use to smell like. When I
am walking to work I can smell them from a mile away.. When I
come home from a night out my hair reeks of it. Most of all
though I feel sorry for the stuff i put my non-smoking friends
through. Most of my friends smoke and when we are in a bar in a
circle and 2 or more of them light up it is very uncomfortable.
My eyes water, i choke up. The thought of ever inhaling makes me
sick to my stomach now and I know I will never go back to it.
Plus I save so much money - I put it away for a trip to
somewhere soon.
I'm here to tell everyone they can do it and they can do it
without gaining weight. If I can so can anyone else.
