Walk away from it.  Addiction is an illusion created by the media and intended to brainwash us into thinking that not only is smoking cool, but that it's also difficult to give it up.  By rationalising the whole problem, it is easy to see that there is a martyr/hero syndrome involved and that it is actually not difficult to walk away from it if only one is willing to admit that there is not a problem in the the first place, other than submitting to what the media tells us.
