The most effective way I have been able to quit smoking was purchasing an electronic cigarette. It’s designed to look and feel like a regular cigarette but it vaporizes the nicotine as opposed to actual cigarettes which carbonize the tobacco. It takes away all the toxins and carcinogens and helps with the social aspect of smoking such as the need to smoke after eating or while talking and socializing. At first I used it up to 5 times a day but I’ve weened myself down to using it for only social situations. It’s done wonders for me and is the first successful way I’ve been able to quit smoking for good!
