Just for Safe-Keeping

My best tip would be to never start in the first place, but if it’s too late for that and you’re looking to quit, I’d suggest giving your cigarettes to a supportive loved one who is a nonsmoker, so that you have to ask them whenever you want to smoke and they can talk you out of it.  You could also try posting a pledge to quit on Facebook or another online support network so that you feel accountable to someone more than yourself.  Then everytime you feel the urge to smoke, go read the supportive responses for motivation. Keep busy, chew nicorettes or electronic cigarette.  And everytime you want a smoke, do 5 minutes of exercise instead - soon you’ll hate the idea of smoking just to avoid doing any more situps! lol
