~ How it works ~

Using SlimStep is easy.
First, enter your sex, age, height and weight so that the built-in computer can calculate your body type profile and determine what your ideal weight and fat percentage should be. The LCD guides you through set-up and SlimStep will remember your profile for future use.


Now you're ready to make a body fat measurement.
Simply hold the SlimStep at arms length and press a key. A tiny electrical signal measures your body impedance and within 6 seconds your body fat percentage is accurately computed.
The LCD will indicate your results, graph your body type, and display Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR), which shows your daily calorie needs.

If your weight or body fat percentage is above that recommended for your profile, SlimStep will suggest the fat percentage and number of pounds you need to lose to reach ideal weight. Choose a 30, 60, or 90 day weight loss course, and it even calculates how many excess calories you'll need to burn daily!

Clip SlimStep to your belt or waist and you can track your activity level using the integrated motion monitor.

Carry it with you while jogging, running, or even working out (treadmill, cycle, or step aerobics) and you'll always know your actual activity level, distance walked, and calories burned.

SlimStep can keep track of your exercise level and display the calories (or activity) remaining to reach your goal.
