Smokeless Tobacco Staff,

Smokeless Tobacco — also called chewing tobacco, “chew”, “chaw”, “dip”, and “plug”, is simply tobacco that you let sit in your month instead of smoking. Sucking and chewing on smokeless tobacco allows nicotine, to be absorbed into the bloodstream through the issues in the mouth.

Smokeless tobacco comes in two forms: “Snuff”, a fine-grain tobacco that comes in teabag-like pouches and “Chewing Tobacco” that often comes in shredded, “bricked” or twisted form.

Many people believe that chewing tobacco is “safe” because it does not require smoking. Chewing tobacco may be smokeless but it is not harmless. In fact, chewing tobacco can be quit dangerous, even fatal, causing tooth erosion, gum disease, oral cancer, and lung cancer.
